About My Family
Hello! I am Stacey Burton, single adoptive mom to eleven ranging in age from 2 to 31. God has blessed me with an amazing family, church family and friends, allowing me to fulfill my dreams of being a mom and a MISSIONARY! As a young girl, I dreamed of being a missionary and serving families and children. Now I get to do that daily in my own hometown, Somerset, Kentucky.
About My Ministry
My ministry focuses on women and their families. I work closely with a rehabilitation facility in our community, building relationships with their clients, becoming a support for them while they are in the program. I have recently earned my Family Advocate Certification in order to support mothers as they work to rebuild relationships with their children. My partners and I offer family days, allowing their families to visit in a safe and neutral environment, offering games and activities for them to do while they are together.
I also offer community outreach activities throughout the year, including seasonal events, community dinners and more. My goal is to connect families to local churches, build relationships within those churches and, ultimately, to lead them to Christ. Our motto is, “It’s all about relationships.”
