About My Family
My developmental years were spent in East Asia where I learned about God through my parents, church and school. I was saved at a young age, but I grew prideful and self-righteous. My heart was callous to the lost. I would keep the good news of Jesus to myself while my unbelieving friends lived condemned.
God finally broke my heart for the lost in high school when a dear friend of mine revealed to me that he was not a Christian and knew where he would end up if Christianity were true. It was frustrating to realize I was incapable of leading a meaningful, Christ-exalting conversation with him. In college, my faith became active through the training I received through Christian Challenge. I have no greater joy than to know and make known Jesus Christ as I teach and encourage others to live biblically and pass on what they have received.

About My Ministry
California Baptist University (CBU) is in Southern California and has an on-campus population of about 4,000 with nearly 10,000 students enrolled. The diverse student body includes a large international population and a rapidly increasing non-believing one. Christian Challenge invites students to know Christ, challenges them to live their lives as biblical followers of Jesus and encourages them to teach others to do the same. We desire to be disciples who make disciples and pass on that same biblical pattern to students as they in turn invest in the lives of students on campus, in their local church and through overseas opportunities.
I hope they will believe that God's heart is for every nation, tribe and tongue to know His Son, Jesus Christ, and to worship Him alone.
