About My Family
Julia and I were married in 2008. We have served in ministry together both overseas and stateside for more than 20 years. I served in the Air Force as a pilot for 13 years where I first sensed God’s call into vocational ministry. Throughout my military career, my family and I were able to experience God’s work in many different cultures and people groups. In order to be of most service to the local and global church, I completed and M.Div. and Ph.D. in systematic theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Julia has a master’s degree in professional counseling and a master’s degree in school counseling.
We have three children: Hannah, Jacob and Micah. We enjoy meeting new people, engaging people with the good news of Jesus, writing music, traveling and trying new restaurants.

About My Church Plant
Dwell City Church exists to declare and demonstrate new life in Christ in order to be a blessing to the nations. Our vision is to be a light for the nations, a community rich in faith and abundant in love, bringing the good news of Jesus Christ for the joy of all peoples.
Our name comes from Psalm 107, which speaks about lost people wandering in the desert with no city in which to dwell. But when they cried out to God for deliverance, He heard their cry and led them by a straight way until they reached a city to dwell in.
We recognize ourselves as being empty, lost without hope and having no place to truly belong. Yet we called upon the Lord, and He heard our cry and redeemed us, filled us with joy, and gave us a forever family. We now dwell together and call out to others to come experience the joy we have found in Christ.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
