About My Family
My wife, Modesta, and I have been married for more than six years and are no strangers to Laurel, Md. Modesta lived in Laurel for two years during her teenage years, and I have lived in Laurel for almost 10 years. We like to say proudly that we have lived in three of the five areas in Greater Laurel.
I was born in Nigeria and immigrated in 2003. My wife was born in Togo and has been in the U.S. since 1998. We are excited to call Laurel home and are looking forward to seeing God’s work in the city.

About My Church Plant
Since 2017, I have had a desire to plant a church that both reaches non-Christians in general and Africans in particular. In 2019, the Lord made it clear that Laurel would be the place for that mission. After putting together a conference in 2018, which brought together people from more than 10 countries, the need for such a church was made more certain.
Modesta and I are excited and look forward to the work God will do in Laurel and beyond. We desire to be a church where lives are transformed by Jesus and His redemptive gospel.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
