About My Family

Abby and I were raised in Georgia by God-fearing families. In 2018, God called us to New Orleans for seminary, and we fell in love. We enjoy cheering on the Atlanta Braves and the New Orleans Saints. Alongside the ministry of church planting, Abby is a professional counselor, and I am a professional in the audio visual technology world. We own a business called Centered Audio where I do freelance production and installation work as a covocation to ministry.

Samuel is our first child and biggest blessing/ biggest ministry. We love good food and board games and hope that these will be avenues for gospel conversations moving forward.

About My Church Plant

We were called to plant in 2020 during the pandemic, and God gave us a burning heart for our city, particularly the Freret/Milan/Broadmore neighborhood. We are launching publicly on February 18, 2024, with our weekly gathering. Our goal is to reach the neighborhood and local colleges via incarnational presence and gospel witness through evangelism and missional living. We have financially structured our ministries to direct resources into the community and serve the “least of these.”

Centered Church seeks to have a biblical focus as we radiate God’s love to our community. We value relational, creative and multicultural approaches to ministry. While maintaining and biblical, liturgical and Spirit-filled approach to worship. We would love for you to come visit us.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.

Pray

General: Pray for the planter’s family as they work together in ministry. Pray the church will be established and will faithfully work to plant in other communities, too. Pray the Lord brings leaders who can help within the church. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.

Specific: Pray that we will be able to buy a home soon in our target community. We desire to live incarnationally in our community. (property taxes and all) Pray God would open doors with long-term residents of the community. Those who have lived in the community longest are often the hardest to reach because of their skepticism toward anything new.
