About My Family
Hi! My name is Timothy Mims. I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, and have been part of Imago Dei Church for several years. I’m currently a college student and passionate about seeing people come to know Jesus and grow in their faith.
Over the years, God has shaped my heart through discipleship, serving in the church, and opportunities to invest in others. I love building relationships, encouraging people in their walk with Christ, and helping students understand how their lives can be used for God’s mission.
Over the next season, I’ll be serving as a college intern at Imago Dei Church. I’m excited to continue growing in leadership while helping reach and disciple college students. I’m incredibly thankful for the people who are choosing to walk alongside me through prayer and support.

About My Ministry
This internship is focused on reaching college students with the gospel and helping them grow as disciples of Jesus through the local church. My role will involve building relationships with students, sharing the gospel, discipling believers, and helping them understand how to live on mission in their everyday lives.
A key part of this internship is participating in the OAK Project. In the summer of 2026, I will serve with a team in Utah and the Middle East, partnering with church plants and missionaries to share the gospel and support local ministry.
In 2027, I will return to the OAK Project in a leadership role, helping lead a team both domestically and internationally. My prayer is that through this ministry, more students will come to know Christ and be equipped to live on mission wherever God calls them.
