About My Family

My wife, Melissa, and I have a ranch north of Seattle. We started a the Cross Country Cowboy Church Network to take the gospel into more than a thousand riding clubs in the Greater Seattle Area. To date (July 2020), we have started four weekly worship locations and more than 1,400 people have received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

We have grown children and are currently fostering to adopt a sibling group of four kids.

About My Church Plant

There are more than 1,000 horse-riding clubs/indoor facilities in the Greater Seattle Area. These facilities are ready-made to house cowboy church outposts (worship locations). We are serving in club events, connecting with this culture, leading people to Jesus Christ, making disciples and training leaders to do this ministry.

We have had the opportunity to share Christ in these settings and have seen more than 1,400 people to date (July 2020) commit their lives to Christ. We have four weekly worship locations currently and are on course to multiply that to eight locations soon. Seventeen new leaders are currently being trained to help start new cowboy church outposts.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.

Pray

Pray that the Lord will continue to call and help us develop new leaders to do this ministry. Pray that our funding/partnerships will continue to launch new locations. Pray the families of our leaders will be blessed and protected from spiritual attack.

Participate

Connect as a Sending Church or a Supporting Church with our work. Commit to long-term missions support with us. Be involved in supporting us and our family. Pray for us.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit sendnetwork.com/PlanterFunding for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
