About My Family

I was born in New Hampshire but grew up in Frostproof, Fla. I am married to Celeste Riley, who was born in Queens, N.Y. We have seven beautiful daughters: Rachel (28), Naomi (26), Lydia (25), Esther (21), Chloe (19), Bethany (15) and Abigail (11).

About My Ministry

I’m an SBC-endorsed correctional chaplain. I recently moved from Core Civic for three years to serve with “Men of Valor.” Now I am in four prisons doing discipleship groups in each prison, teaching, preaching, special events and offering a 12-month, Christ-centered discipleship housing program upon approval of the applications I process and release.

Prior to correctional chaplaincy ministry, I was on staff for 20 years at churches, teaching all ages to being senior pastor in N.C.

Pray

Pray I would be a leader as father and husband and that I would be a man of prayer who is in the Word and close to God. Pray my wife and children will draw close to God by salvation, revival and daily walk (2 John 4!). Pray for the souls of men in prison and discipleship to make them godly and for volunteers to help me in this God-sized task. Pray for favor with each facility that helps in the process of moving them to MOV housing upon release.
