About My Family

The moment I relinquished control of my life to God, He unveiled the bigger picture He was illustrating. He planted a seed that ignited a passion for church planting and missions. More than one year into being on staff at Resonate Church, I find myself having been pushed far beyond my limits, but our faithful God has used these instances to further confirm my calling.
I recently moved to Monmouth, Ore., to serve on a church planting team with Resonate Church at Western Oregon University (WOU). Every day, my team and I are breaking new ground on campus. We do this by actively engaging college students and leaders, modeling what it looks like to share the gospel, plan and implement strategic programs and community building events and living life with them, displaying what it looks like to live a life that points toward Christ. As our church matures, I will be the lead multiplier at WOU where I will coach and disciple student leaders on what it looks like to start and engage in an evangelical movement.

About My Church Plant

Ten years ago, Resonate Church was founded by seven people with a vision of starting a movement in the Pacific Northwest. Resonate Church is an "urgent, multiplying, collegiate, church planting movement." We strategically target college campuses across the Pacific Northwest for the same reason the apostle Paul targeted port cities. A port city is a small, geographically specific location that is saturated with people who travel from all over the region or world (sounds a lot like a college campus!). If we are able to have an effect on college students they will take their knowledge of the gospel to their friends, hometowns, jobs and to the ends of the earth.
Today, we have expanded to seven sites across three states. In 2016, we saw more than 1,000 people gather in Sunday gatherings and 700 in small groups. During this time, we celebrated 142 baptisms, 76 people who decided to follow Jesus and 238 people were sent out on missions! Resonate exists to connect the gospel to people, people to community and community to missions. We seek to equip believers to leave their universities with a passion for missions, a leadership/ministry skillset and a motivation to either move to or support current and future church plants on all major universities in the Pacific Northwest.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at

For Resonate Church and the students with whom our missionaries are engaging. For there to be a first-ever awakening movement in the Pacific Northwest. For favor and impact in the least churched region of the United States. For students to say yes to church planting with Resonate Church.

Please ask God and pray about partnering with me personally. Ask me about partnering in a Resonate church plant. Ask me about sponsoring a student to go on a missions trip or summer discipleship project.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
