About My Family
Hi! We’re the Hammargrens!
Jeralyn and I got to know each other in Sweden on a two-year mission with Cru. I moved to Arizona to pursue a Master of Divinity degree from Phoenix Seminary, and we got married in 2023. The Lord has since blessed us with two little ones, Evangeline (01/2024) and Roy (12/2025). We’ve LOVED being part of our church, Church on Mill, here in Tempe!
Our heart and mission are to share the good news of our Savior, Jesus Christ, to those who have yet to hear:
“And thus I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else’s foundation, but as it is written, ’Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand’” (Romans 15:20-2).

About My Ministry
Life Among the Nations is an international student ministry through Church on Mill in Tempe, Arizona, seeking to reach the 20,000+ international students at Arizona State University (literally across the street!). Many of the students come from closed countries where churches are illegal or restricted. We get to meet Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, and agnostic students every week, many of them having never heard the gospel before!
We welcome these students as guests, love them as friends, and challenge them as sinners to respond to the forgiveness offered to them at the cross. Our prayer is that they would turn to Christ and then become ambassadors for Him in their home countries, where so many have never heard of Him. We would be honored if you would join us in our mission to make disciples of all nations here in Tempe!
