About My Family
I was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I accepted Christ as my personal Savior when I was 9 years old. I became the first Christian in my family and was an instrument to bring my family to the Lord.
Nuwen was born in Nicaragua, raised in a Christian home, and accepted the Lord at a young age. Nuwen and I have three small sons: Carlos, Marcos and Tiago.

About My Church Plant
Nuwen and I are planting a church in Mesa, Ariz. Our goal is to establish a Latino church that is both missional and multiplying. We want to see people transformed with the gospel, so we can start Bible studies at homes to reach young families and to inspire weekly worship services. They are partnering with HiWay Baptist Church, which is hosting the new ministry. Also, Iglesia Experimenta Vida and Ncuentro Network are helping with this new project.
My ministry focuses on presenting the gospel to vulnerable groups. We serve with Compassion International as country director for the Dominican Republic. Also, I serve with World Vision as director of organizational development and with other nonprofit organizations. Nuwen has a passion for advocating on behalf of vulnerable children.

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
