About My Family
I am married to Svetlana (goes by Lana), and we have three kids ages: 9, 8 and 7. I work part time in a hospital as an electrophysiology nurse and part-time as pastor at my church. I tell people, “I work with physical and spiritual hearts. My wife works on the side as a bookkeeper. Both of us came to the U.S. from different Slavic countries when we were children.
We love to hike where we live in the Pacific Northwest and love high quality espresso drinks.

About My Church Plant
We planted a church in Ferndale, Wash. The city is primarily made up of residential neighborhoods. Bellingham is the main city where people go to work (15 minutes away), but Ferndale is growing quickly into a place where it is a great place to live and raise a family. The problem is even though the city is growing, there are not too many events or gathering places for kids. The city is not equipped to handle a multitude of families. Our goal is to connect and impact by developing opportunities for families and kids to join or visit. We are currently developing a puppet ministry, a soccer ministry and summer day events for kids.
NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
