About My Family

Ludy and I were born and raised in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil. We have been married for 10 years and have two beautiful daughters, Liz and Lavinia.

I worked for more than eight years in a church planting network in Brazil that planted more than 40 churches, while Ludy worked as a lawyer. We moved from Brazil to Boston in 2017. Since then, we have been involved with church planting.

We love meeting new people! Grilling Brazilian barbecues at home for friends and family and training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is our way of connecting with people.

An interesting fact: I worked as a police officer before moving to Orlando, Fla., and Charleston, S.C.

About My Church Plant

It’s no secret that Orlando is known for having one of the highest numbers of population disconnected from the gospel. Many residents are either unchurched or de-churched, which means some people are now struggling and feeling lost. Understanding this reality, it’s impossible not to feel compassion for those lost in this city. That’s why we feel called to plant a new gospel-centered church in Orlando.

We believe that Orlando’s and the rest of the world’s lostness and brokenness have no other solution except the hope of the gospel. We envision a vibrant and diverse church being planted, and we are fervently praying for individuals who share our passion for Jesus and a deep desire to witness non-believers turning to God. We invite you to join our family on this incredible journey.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.

Pray

Pray for spiritual, emotional, and physical balance for me, my wife, and my daughters. Pray for God to send more workers to labor with us. Pray that more churches will partner in this plant in Horizon West, FL.

Participate

Commit to long-term mission support (3–5 years).
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant.
