About My Family
My name is James Zheng, a Calvinist pastor with a passion for gospel-centered ministry and cross-cultural engagement. I hold a Ph.D. in Management, an M.Div. and a Th.M. and spent 13 years as a university professor in China before being called to full-time ministry.
My wife and I cherish our family life, especially raising our son, who earned his B.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. We value faith, learning and serving others together, seeking to create a welcoming community wherever God leads us.

About My Church Plant
I am planting the Chinese Reformed Baptist Church of West Houston, endorsed by the Southern Baptist Convention of Texas. My ministry is focused on reaching and discipling Chinese-speaking people in Fulshear, Katy, and Richmond.
I am committed to expository preaching, reformed theology and building authentic, caring community. With more than 10 years of pastoral experience in both China and the U.S., I strive to help believers grow spiritually and practically, equipping them to live out their faith in every area of life. NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
