About My Family
My name is William Gongora. I was born in El Salvador, Central America. My wife, Claudia, was born in Guatemala. We have been married for 26 years and have two girls—Sarah (20) and Raquel (12). Both of us have been very active in ministry before and after we got married in 1999.
We are both blessed to work for the Lord and use our talents and skills for His glory.

About My Church Plant
Through the support of our church, Iglesia Evangelica Bautista Luz y Verdad, we are praying and working toward the future planting of a Spanish-speaking church in Sylmar, California. This is a suburban neighborhood in the northern part of Los Angeles with a large Spanish-speaking population.
I am also the Senior Ministry Development Coordinator for Children’s Hunger Fund, a Christian organization that supports churches in the United States and around the world.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
