About My Family
I am a diehard Texan going back five generations. My wife Penni and I met while teaching school in Central Texas, and have been married for 36 years. God has blessed us with two precious children, Ben, our son, and Kaitlyn, our daughter. Ben is recently married, giving us a beautiful daughter-in-law. They are now expecting their first child, and we will soon be grandparents for the first time. Kaitlyn followed in her parents’ footsteps and teaches special education. They both reside in Texas.
Penni and I love traveling, which is how God got us to Florida. We have been full-time RV’ers since 2020, and God has had a plan for it to be used for His glory. We have traveled all over the Southeast, but have enjoyed the beaches and the fun of Walt Disney World for many years. God has also allowed us to visit Israel and Greece.

About My Church Plant
Following what we thought was retirement, God called us back into ministry to serve as a lead church planter for a new congregation formed as a replant. The replant is positioned to reach new generations. We feel led to use the experiences that we have had to work with younger families, as well as our experiences from teaching and being an administrator. Having been a bivocational minister since college, the varied experiences we have had have prepared us for the field.
Our church plant is located in the Minneola area of Florida, outside of Orlando. God is bringing the nations to us through the growth that is occurring all around us. We feel God has led us to an area where people need to find Jesus and then be discipled as His followers.
Penni uses her gift of teaching and compassion as she serves our church as children’s director.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.
