About My Family

Trey Van Camp is a fourth-generation pastor. His grandfather and father are well-known in Arizona for leading their generations in passionate evangelism. At the age of 13, Trey surrendered his life to full-time ministry and was licensed to preach at 16. At 17, Trey created a service at Heart Cry where he preached to more than 150 students at their once-a-month gatherings. Trey graduated summa cum laude from California Baptist University (CBU) with his bachelor's degree in Applied Theology and was awarded the Applied Theology Award. Since graduating, he has served as the associate pastor of Heart Cry Church. Trey has a passion to reach and teach millennials for Christ in the East Valley of Phoenix, Ariz. Trey is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Jordan. In March 2015, they added a new member to the family, Faith.

About My Church Plant

Passion Creek Church officially launched at Harkins Theatres on January 10, 2016. By God's grace, we began our first day with eight baptisms and had 23 in our first year. Our vision is simple: We exist to reach and teach everyone for Christ. We have three God-sized dreams:
–God has given us the dream to baptize 200 people in three years (by January 10, 2019).
–God has given us the dream to mobilize Arizona State University Polytechnic students to use their marketable skill sets all around the world for the kingdom of God.
–God has given us the dream to create a safe and loving environment for LDS (Mormons) and atheists to come and dialogue about Jesus.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.

Pray

–For God's favor to rest upon us and to establish the work of our hands (Psalm 90:17). –For God's help in fulfilling our God-sized dreams through the prayers and work of our members. –For us to pursue intimacy with Jesus above ministry for Jesus.

Participate

Share videos we post on Facebook. Join our team as we seek to engage our city with the gospel of Jesus.
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant. Visit sendnetwork.com/PlanterFunding for NAMB's policy on providing for church plants.
