About My Family

My wife, Dayana, and I are Venezuelans, both born in Christian homes where we heard the Word of God at a very young age. We met in 2002 in a youth camp. Since then, we have started the adventure of sharing and serving the Lord together, a journey that continues with our marriage in 2007.

Since we met, I remember us working together for the Lord’s work and constantly preparing ourselves for the call God was giving us. We continued to serve the Lord, and in 2016 God blessed us with our only (for now) son Matteo David.

Soon the Lord was delegating us leadership responsibilities. In 2013, I was called by the church as a senior pastor. During COVID-19 in 2020, in the midst of great challenges, the Lord called us to plant Hispanic churches in Florida. After a miraculous process, we came to Jacksonville, Fla., in 2021.

About My Church Plant

In 2021, we arrived in Jacksonville what our promised land meant to us. We immediately realized the needs of the Hispanic people in this city. In this sense, our effort is aimed at establishing strategies that help us meet these needs.

Since we started at Faithbridge Church, we have been working with a group of families who have committed themselves to healthy families who be and make disciples and grow churches that make churches grow, which is part of our philosophy and statement. We are also offering free English as a Second Language for the whole community.

I am currently the leading pastor of the Hispanic ministry, and we are in the process of planting Faithbridge in Spanish in the east of the city of Jacksonville, Fla.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people to whom we speak. Pray that through this ministry, more people would come to saving faith and live on mission. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.

Participate

Build relationships with missionaries and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Learn birthdays and anniversaries, so you can send gifts and cards.
Learn the ministry strategy and context, so you can provide relevant resources. Support a missionary financially.
