About My Family

My wife, Sophie, and I are fourth generation Christians. We were born and raised in Korea, moved to Vancouver, and became first-generation Korean Canadians.

While connecting different moments of our lives in God's calling, we found the reason He sent us to the city of Vancouver. We are humbly and gratefully committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus in this city of Vancouver.

Sophie and I, along with our beautiful children, Lahee and John, thank God for His mercy and love as we share the Good News through our everyday lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

About My Church Plant

"... to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12, NIV). How amazing it is that we have been born into God's family! I can't wait to share this with my neighbors.

The Family Church is greatly passionate about reaching out to the lost lambs in our daily contexts. Furthermore, we believe contextualizing the gospel into our daily life is this generation's joyful duty in advancing God's kingdom. God sends us out as salt and the light to all areas of life in the world, such as marketplaces, schools, neighborhoods and communities. In doing so, we do not just go to church, we ARE the church.

The Family Church is a missional church seeking to live out the gospel in our daily lives in order to help the lost come to Jesus Christ.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
