About My Family

My wife, Mallie, and I have been married for almost seven years. We have two kids: Elliott Joy (2) and Caden (7 months). I grew up in a small country church in small town Texas, hearing the gospel preached every week by the pastor—my grandpa.

In college, God used a college ministry to help me learn to follow Jesus and to eventually call me into ministry. After serving as a college pastor at Michigan State the last six years, we’re excited to come back home to Texas to plant a new church in Denton, which is a city we love!

About My Church Plant

We’re planting a new church called King’s Church in Denton, Texas, with a new college ministry called Salt Company for students at University of North Texas, Texas Woman’s University and North Central Texas College. We are part of the Salt Network, a family of churches with a vision to see a thriving church and college ministry established in every major university center in North America.

Our mission is to help people find their greatest joy in Jesus. We believe that Jesus is the good and happy King of heaven and earth and that true life, community and purpose are found in Him. Our prayer is that we would bless the city of Denton, reach the campus and send people out to plant new churches in our country and around the world.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray for boldness to share the gospel and open hearts among the people to whom we speak. Pray that through this ministry, more people would come to saving faith and live on mission. Pray for stamina and longevity for ministry amidst attacks from the enemy.

Participate

Build relationships with missionaries and their families. Send notes of encouragement. Learn birthdays and anniversaries, so you can send gifts and cards.
Learn the ministry strategy and context, so you can provide relevant resources. Support a missionary financially.
