About My Family

Calley and I were married October 17, 2015. Calley is a nurse at Methodist University downtown Memphis, Tenn., and leveraging her job for the kingdom by sharing the gospel with her patients and co-workers. I raise support and spend my time in the harvest planting churches, training others to do the same, and mobilizing the church across Memphis and around the world.

About My Church Plant

In August 2013, I moved to the center of Memphis to join what the Lord was doing across the Memphis Metro Area. Calley and I became a team in 2015 and our primary focus is to see the 1 million people in Memphis who are far from God reached with the gospel. Our passion is to see people who are far from God reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ and developed into reproducing
disciples who gather into healthy reproducing churches.
God has given us and other like-minded practitioners a vision to train people in kingdom-growth principles throughout the Memphis Metro Area and for there to be "no place left" for us to work, as the apostle Paul says in Romans 15:23. To see this vision accomplished we are praying for nothing less than a movement. There are 1.4 million people in the Memphis area.
We believe God can use us to accomplish what Paul accomplished in Asia Minor right here in Memphis. In Acts 19:10 we see that all of Asia Minor heard the Word of the Lord in a period of two years. As the gospel is advancing locally and globally, we believe our participation with God (in some manner) will result in the fulfillment of Matthew 24:14. Our aim is that there will be no place (42 ZIP codes) left without multiplying disciples and churches to the fourth generation and beyond.
Through a process of reproduction and multiplication we aim to join Paul in saying we have no place left to work in this region (Romans 15:23). We are also targeting seven major social segments with the goal of starting a new church with the DNA to multiply to the fourth generation. Those segments are: government, wealthy professionals, students, medical community, blue-collar workerd, low income, major religions anf the immigrantefugee community. You can be part of one of the greatest church planting movements that Memphis or the North America has ever seen by giving, praying and/or joining us on the frontline.

NAMB Church Planting

Demonstrated Christian character is essential for missionaries and chaplains to gain credibility and build community. A missionary is a person who, in response to God's call and gifting, leaves his or her comfort zone and crosses cultural, geographic or other barriers to proclaim the gospel and live out a Christian witness in obedience to the Great Commission. The North American Mission Board supports missionaries serving across the United States, Canada and their territories. Churches are the missionary incubators and sending centers for missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention. Missionaries serve in a variety of settings and face tremendous challenges. But the rewards are tremendous and life-changing. Missionaries have the privilege to represent their church and their Father in sharing the gospel as the primary focus of their activity. If you are interested in pursuing next steps as a potential missionary or chaplain from your church, explore the possibilities at namb.net/send-me.

Pray

This vision cannot be accomplished by us alone. Please pray for a movement of laborers in the harvest as Jesus directed us. "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out more laborers into His harvest."

Participate

Do you or your church want training to multiply disciples and churches in the harvest? Would you pray about joining our long-term monthly support team? Would you want to join our prayer team to receive special prayer requests?
Many missionaries build a team to join their ministry in prayer, participation, and provision. These friends, family and churches support missionaries beyond the tithes and offerings given within the church plant.
