About My Family
Hi! We are the Sherrers. My name is Zane, and my wife is Faith. We have two long-haired cats. One is named Shamgar and the other Judas. In our free time, we enjoy swimming, hiking, lounging in the hammock, reading and drinking coffee.
I was born and raised in a small town in Arkansas before being called to Lincoln, Neb. Faith was raised in western Nebraska and moved to Lincoln to start college. We soon met—after many dinners, movies, picnics, and escape rooms—I popped the question! Lucky for me, she said yes. Since marrying, we have been called to ministry, and I couldn’t be more excited to do it together.

About My Ministry
We are currently on staff with Christian Challenge at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). Our ministry is partnered with Sower Church.
Faith and I have been serving in campus ministry at UNL for four years now. We have been very blessed to see God move on our campus. We can’t wait to see what He has planned.
Our vision is to lead students into authentic discipleship with Christ. We then want to connect them to community, get them plugged into a local church and teach them to be committed to growing in their faith in the Lord.
