About My Family

Jesus Christ saved me in 1989. I devoted my life to serving God, and now I hold a Ph.D. I served with the Central India Christian Mission among Burmese refugees in India. I continued serving Burmese migrant communities and others. My wife, Dr. Van Noi Ding, served the Lord in Myanmar from 2002 to 2020 and holds a D.Min. degree.

Together, we bring theological education, pastoral ministry experience, cross-cultural ministry experience, language skills, and a shared burden for Burmese, Chin, and other immigrant communities. We desire to serve families, proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, and train Christian leaders to establish gospel-centered churches. We seek to live by the calling: Serving God by serving others. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve” (Mark 10:45).

About My Church Plant

We are a biblical Burmese church plant in Indianapolis, Indiana, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with Burmese immigrant communities to make disciples, serve families, train leaders, and plant gospel-centered churches throughout Indianapolis and beyond.

We focus on Greater Indianapolis and the surrounding Indiana communities, especially Burmese, Chin, Karen, and other Asian immigrant families seeking community, hope, and a new beginning. Our vision is to be a Christ-centered church that reflects God’s love, unity, faith, hospitality, and good works. Our mission is to reach Burmese communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ; help immigrant families through prayer, community support, and assistance; build a fellowship where people find worship, discipleship, care, and a sense of belonging; and plant gospel-centered churches.

NAMB Church Planting

Millions in North America are in desperate need of hope. Ultimately, the only hope that’s going to last - in this life and the next - is the hope of the gospel. North American missionaries build relationships and share this hope in their communities and beyond.

Pray

Pray with us for the salvation of Burmese, Chin, Karen, and other immigrant communities. Pray for wisdom, strength, boldness, and protection for our pastor, family, and ministry team. Pray for healthy discipleship and spiritual growth, and that children and youth will know and follow Jesus Christ. Pray that we would have faithful volunteers, leaders, ministry partners, financial resources, and open doors for community outreach. Pray for God’s guidance as we develop leaders and plant gospel-centered churches throughout Indiana and beyond. “I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:19).

Participate

We believe that gospel ministry is strongest when God’s people serve together. We invite churches, pastors, and individuals to participate with us through prayer, financial support, and ministry partnership to reach Burmese families, disciple new believers, and develop future church plants. Your partnership helps to open doors for gospel conversations. Together, we can serve communities better.
