About My Family
Hi there, I am Joshua McKaye. I have been in the Health and Fitness industry for 20 years as a personal trainer, consultant and facility manager. In recent years (pre-COVID-19) I have been self employed and contracted as a personal training specialist. I have been able to use my networking in the fitness industry as a platform to share the gospel.
I view health with the holistic perspective of body, mind and soul. I believe in order for someone to be truly healthy and alive they need Jesus!
My better half is Jessica. We were married November 3, 2018. She is my greatest blessing apart from knowing Christ. Jessica works full time in advertising and is a part-time real-estate agent. We have two dogs we adore: A bulldog rescue named Buster—who has been more of a handful than we could have ever imagined—and a chocolate Lab named Tyson.

About My Church Plant
Jessica and I planted Fellowship Bowmanville in March 2020. Our official launch date was scheduled for March 21, 2020, but March 15 the province of Ontario went into full lockdown due to COVID-19. This obviously put our launch on hold as we were no longer able to gather and wanted to obey government regulations.
This was a real blow to us, both spiritually and emotionally as we had put a year into evangelism, small groups and community outreach. However God had other plans. He slowed everything down and drew us closer to Him. We have been able to focus more on discipleship and helping others find hope during a time when all hope seemed lost. We have been forced to pivot and find new ways of interacting with those we have built relationships whether through an online presence, emails or surprise care packages containing gospel messages.

NAMB Church Planting
Millions living in North America have not been reached with the gospel. But a new church makes change possible in an unreached neighborhood.
Send Network church planters immerse themselves in a community, learning the rhythms and culture as they establish relationships with the lost. A church plant grows out of the evangelism efforts of the planter and his core team.
